Welcome to markgreaneybooks.com and, perhaps less auspiciously, this here blog. I plan on using this forum to have a dialog with readers, friends, readers who are friends, even readers who are mortal enemies but kind enough to shell out a few bucks for my book.
I plan on discussing the launch of my first novel (The Gray Man, available 9/29/09), other books that I like, the writing craft, as well as issues of interest to me and (hopefully) to potential readers. What issues? Intrigue and espionage, US Intelligence issues, international travel, Firearms… whatever comes up.

Speaking of your comments, I’d be greatful for any opinions or comments about the layout and appearance of the website. I still have a few months before much promotion will be done on the novel… so I consider this a bit of a “soft opening”. I will be adding and changing out some content as I figure out what I’m doing. If there are things that need to be added, chucked out wholesale, or otherwise tweaked, just speak your mind and I’ll certainly take it under advisement. This blog is not me talking to myself (I’ve been doing that without a webhost for a long time), so let’s talk.
