Well here’s the new cover! There may be some changes here and there, its likely the copy will change when I get some reviews of the 2nd book (since the manuscript exists chiefly on my laptop at the moment, it’s hard to expect reviews and blurbs so soon!)
I love this cover, and I loved the Gray Man cover too. I’ve heard some writers talk about all the frustrations involved in getting art on their book that doesn’t impress them, but this cover is really striking and it represents the story very well- it’s not really a picture of one event in the book, but I see elements of 3 different parts of the story all swirled into one, and I’m really grateful for the work of Berkley’s Art department and the vision of my editor in getting this together.

Looks fantastic, Mark. It was the fine cover art on THE GRAY MAN that led me to buy it on impulse, and this book is similarly well designed.
Hey Mark, I gotta tell ya, I picked up your book at the airport looking for something new to read, and I was hooked after just the first chapter. I just finished it tonight. I can’t wait until your next one hits the shelves. Do you have a tentative release date yet?
Wow – What a page turner! — Very much looking forward to “On Target” as is one of our sons. Great work!
Looks AWESOME–CAN NOT wait to read your next book, the first was truly AWESOME!
A little insight from two X chromosomes…maybe a minority reading this genre, but seriously looking forward to reading the next installment. The art wasn’t what compelled me to buy this book. It was the cover reference from another artist I enjoy and the “Bourne for the new millennium” comment. The authors I already trust have never let me down…I know I’ve picked up a good one if it’s wearing a reference from someone I already like to read. This was one hell of a debut…I’ll be stalking the shelves for the next one!
Mark this cover is absolutely fabulous. What a great job the folks at Berkley did for you. And now we can see how the series trend will go. I’m predicting this will “JUMP” off the shelves!
Greetings from the UK. I like the look of the cover – would certainly make me pick it up…..
Cover looks great! Can’t wait to read the next book and get back into Court Gentry’s world. Think I may have to re-read “The Gray Man” just to get my fix until “On Target” comes out!
