The Gray Man nominated for Best Thriller

I am very proud to announce that my debut novel, The Gray Man, has received a nomination for Barry Award for Best Thriller. The award is named after the beloved late reviewer of crime novels, Barry Gardner. The winner will be announced in San Francisco at the great Bouchercon crime, mystery, and thriller novel conference in October. Wish me luck!!!!

    Mark, I didnt read a better thriller all year. Actually longer than a year. You are so deserving of this award and of continuing success with On Target. Good luck. It seems that publishers are sticking with proven bestsellers in this economy; but whoever “took a chance” on you hit a grand slam. Can’t wait til the 28th.

Also, I was in Memphis last week, and noticed that “Memphis Magazine” had a wonderful two-page profile of you. Congratulations again!
