Tom Clancy with Mark Greaney have a armchair gripping spy thriller that is eerily pertinent with regard to current international affairs. Even though this is fiction, it opens the reader’s eyes to the very real possibility that a variant these circumstances could conceivably happen in any of several unstable countries or sympathetic governments with a dual agenda. At 853 pages it’s a whopper–but it’s a fast read. I finished it in 3 days time. If nothing else, I gives the reader a good reason to keep informed on international and national events…not to be lulled into complacency in today’s endless cable news cycles with a biased agenda, and not take every postulation at face value.

Hey Mark,
What’s the possibility of having a Male reader for male characters and a female reader for the female characters? I agree with it ruining an audio book to have the female part read by a guy. They usually wind up sounding like an estrogen deficient southern bell.

Reading Ballistic now. Still loving it. You have a real gift man.

Noooooo…not Mark Wahlberg, who can only play one role. Ugh! Court is far too intelligent and multi-dimensional for Wahlberg. Brad Pitt might actually be excellent in this role.

BTW, just finished On Target and thought it was even better than The Gray Man. Two-thirds of the way through the book, I was thinking what a great film this would be, so am very happy to hear it’s in the works. Will begin Ballistic tomorrow and then will be waiting for 2013 to roll around. Can’t wait for the next Gray Man novel.

Listened to all three “Gray Man” novels. Thoroughly enjoyed each book. I listened to the first 2 books twice! Just finished Locked On loved it! Great job! Thank you for the excellent work you do!

For us diehard Gray Man types, there is good news! In a review of “Locked On” by Robert J. Crane, he states, “Let’s start with basics. This is not a Tom Clancy novel, in the traditional sense.” Further, he states that, “… this book has action scattered throughout.” All I can say is that maybe, just maybe the book is a another Mark Greaney hit! I will give the book a try.

I have become a Gray Man junkie. I have read all three books in the past week. As for Tom Clancy, I never cared for his books. Normally I don’t bother with books that are co-authored. Your writing style is unique. I think I will be able to tell just how much of the novel was written by you. The only thing that may be truly sad is that co-authoring books may mean the end of the Gray Man series.
